The Architecture Committee serves as the approval mechanism for new construction in the neighborhood.  The committee is responsible for setting in place the Architectural Standards that help make specific findings in areas of interpretation within the covenants.

The Communications Committe is responsibe for generating the publications for the association.  This includes website maintenance, newsletter layout and editing, postcard layout and editing, and maintaing relationships with the printing and mailing businesses in our area.  At present, the board has approved the hiring of an outside contractor for these services.

The Community Development Committee spearheads the public events that the association sponsors.  This includes the Spring Picnic, National Night Out,  the Halloween Carnival and the Winter Lights contest.  Also among the duties of this committee is the maintenance and distribution of 'welcome packets' for our new homeowners.  This committee always needs volunteers - e-mail information@edelweisshoa.org to help!

The Deed Restriction Committee is responsible for enforcing the convenants that govern our neighborhood.  This involves the oversight and approval of violations, fines, and liens.  At present, the board has approved the outsourcing of the violation patrols to an outside contractor.  If you would like to serve on this committee, e-mail information@edelweisshoa.org.

The Landscape Committee is responsibe for directing the landscaping installation and maintenance for the association-owned areas of our neighborhood.  This involves maintaing a close relationship with the contractor responsible for doing the work and directing that contractor as appropiate.
